Arrow Spine Selector

Find Your Perfect Spine.

Every bow is different. Every hunter is different. Our free spine selector calculates the exact shaft stiffness for your setup — no guesswork, no wasted shots.

How it works

Precision in Four Steps

Our calculator uses the industry-standard Easton Dynamic Spine method, refined for bow type, arrow length and broadhead weight.

01

Enter your bow specs

Bow type, release method, draw weight and draw length. Takes 30 seconds.

02

Set your arrow length

Measured nock groove to shaft end. Typically draw length + 0.5–2″.

03

Choose your point weight

Field point or broadhead. Heavier heads require a stiffer spine.

Why it matters

Wrong Spine Costs You.

Inconsistent groupings

A spine that’s too weak or too stiff means erratic arrow flight. Groups open up for no obvious reason.

Broadhead tuning problems

Fixed-blade broadheads amplify spine errors dramatically. What looks fine with field points can veer badly at hunting distances.

Lost penetration

An arrow that’s fishtailing on impact loses momentum and deflects off bone. Correct spine maximises straight-line penetration.
